It's crazy to imagine that at one point in Hip Hop history, record labels actually chose records like this to be the lead single off an album. Will those days ever come back, where hardcore MC'n and lyrics will be the popular? Anyway, here is one of my favorite crew joints of all time - EPMD and the Def Squad. Introducing Reggie Noble, aka Redman. Oh, and I think Redman might have bodied this beat the best.
