Nelly burst onto the scene in 2000, spitting nursery-rhyme-inspired raps that had hip-hop purists cringing in their fitted caps. Some of you may know this and some may not, but one of my older brothers, Selwyn Seyfu Hinds was the editor-in-chief when THE SOURCE magazine was in its 'glory days.' He chose to leave that position (for his own reasons) and now he's being asked share the experiences there in a new documentary called The Biible of Hip Hop. I know this....when he was there, The Source was voted the #1 music publication, beating out Rolling Stone. But peep the documentary below and watch for when my brother pops on the screen.
