Xzibit's son dies suddenly

Rapper Xzibit is mourning the loss of his newborn, Xavier Kingston Joiner, who died suddenly on May 26.
Xavier was born prematurely on May 15 and the rapper was overjoyed, but his elation has turned to tragedy.
The rapper expressed his sorrow on his blog to his fans as well as how the baby died.
“Well, this week was extremely difficult for him, because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own,” he said. “Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30 am and I must tell you this, it is unnatural for a parent to bury a child.”

Hip Hop Soda Shop - Miami

Last night was the grand opening of the Hip Hop Soda Shop. They have a location in Tampa, but finally opened up one in South Florida, and I went thru to hit the stage. It was a dope red carpet event, few well known artists in the spot, rubbing shoulders with some good folks. Here go a few pics.

Mello Mondays - Rahsaan & Dead Prez

So Monday night saw the return of MelloMondays to Club Bluster in Hollywood, FL with the revolutionary Dead Prez and yours truly of course. With HBO Def Poet Asia hosting, The Miami Group (Jones & Major) brought 300+ people out to Bluster and the night was off the hook. Beautiful ladies, great food, dope quality hip hop music, and when I hit the stage....I let it be known... "I ain't scared of you muthafukas." Then I went to my records and represented for that real hip hop shit. Then Dead Prez came on shortly after and they tore it up. Shout out to Jones & Major, my peoples from FORTUNE ENT. and all my friends who came thru to support me. Here are a few pics from the show. The show footage will be up soon.

G4 Crew - Fashion Monster Party - The Aftermath

Damn, fresh off the plane from DC. Once I got there on Friday, u could hear the theme song from that Eddie Murphy classic 48 hrs, echoing thru the air... "The boys are back in town..."

WE smashed it down once again with the return of our Fashion Monster Party at Mai Thai. It was great to see some old faces, and some new ones. Considering we've been gone 8 months (yes, we throw parties in DC, no we don't live there- how real is that), and given the construction that's goin' on on 19th St NW, we still had a really good turnout. Thanks to DJ KI for keeping the folks movin.' Look out for the next one. Whatup G4 Scott, Max-A-Mil, Mr. Summertime (G4 Crew). Here go just a couple pics from the joint. Great way to end my birthday week. Damn, and I almost fell off that table I was standing on.

A lot of people have been asking why they can't find my lyrics online. They ask if its because I am "underground." Some even ask me if everything I say in my verse is actual factuals. So being that I am currently an underground/unsigned artist that's about to break through into the mainstream spotlight in the near future, I wanted to re-post the video along with the lyrics to my verse so ya'll can really understand where I'm coming from and what inspired this record.
